Alarm in UK over the report of China poaching it's ex-military pilots. Image According to BBC, China is headcounting former pilots to train PLA.  Up to 30 ex-military pilots I believed to be training PLA personnel. These pilots have served not just in RAF but across the British military. China is said to be offering huge amount of money to former military pilots of Britain.  According to UK official, ex-military pilots are been offered as much as $500,000 a year to help the Chinese understand how Western planes operate.  Experts say such information is critical for China in case of conflicts in Taiwan. According to UK official, China also try to poach serving pilot but none of them accepted the offer. Reports confirmed that Beijing is keen to tap in f-35 pilots; US air Force operate the latest 5th generation aircraft. BBC report also suggested that pilots of other nations have also been targeted and a South African flying academy is said to be involved.  UK

A total of 17 Chinese fighter Jets flew across the median line of the Taiwan strait on Wednesday. The number was released by Taiwan defence ministry as China concluded it's military exercise. China launched the military exercise on Thursday in response to US house speaker Nancy Pelosi visit to Taiwan. Chinese military pledge to continue regular patrols near Taiwan which it claims to be it's own territory.  Last week drills included launches of ballistic missiles, some which flew over taipei. PLA statement: Joint military ops around Taiwan successfully completed various tasks. PLA statement: The joint military ops effectively tested the integrated combat capabilities of the troops. The PLA further said that it's forces will keep an eye on the situation in the Taiwan strait. Reuters report that Chinese Navy ships were active off both the East and West coast of Taiwan.
